Making Windows on Walls

Making Windows on Walls, is an immersive, multi-faceted installation that explores the impact of natural disasters on the environment. The central element of the installation is a looped video projection of a hurricane striking palm trees, with a persistent sun-shaped form shining on the lower portion of the image. The installation also includes a variety of other media, including sound, light, and physical objects, such as an alarm clock, a photography timer, and buckets of water, as well as images printed on transparent film. These elements work together to create a powerful and evocative experience that encourages viewers to consider the effects of natural disasters on the world around us.
