Retóricas de un futuro incierto (Rhetorics of an Uncertain Future)

Retóricas de un futuro incierto (Rhetorics of an Uncertain Future) is a transmedia exhibition that focuses on the topics of coastal habitat loss, global warming, and the effects of climate change due to human activity on the planet. The exhibition includes a series of six drawings made up of silhouettes of coastal animals that have been mutilated. These drawings narrate a larger story and give rise to this project. Also, there is a video, sculptural objects, and a mural that occupies the walls of the gallery and expands into space through a transmedia narrative on social networks and ultimately, a website. The works and the curatorial text are deliberately proposed to persuade the audience about the impact of being human in relation to the natural environment, and how this reality poses uncertain futures for every organism that inhabits the planet.
